Most generators make you copy, open Gmail settings and paste. Ours can put the signature into Gmail for you: approve access once and it’s done. You can also copy and paste by hand. Both ways are below.

Option 1: install straight into Gmail
- 1Create your signature in the generator.
- 2In the last step, choose Gmail and click “Add to Gmail automatically”.
- 3Pick your Google account and allow us to manage your Gmail settings.
- 4Done. Open a new email in Gmail to see your signature.
Option 2: copy and paste
- 1Click “Copy signature” above.
- 2Open Gmail on a computer. Click the gear icon, then “See all settings”.
- 3In the “General” tab, scroll to “Signature” and click “Create new”.
- 4Paste with Ctrl+V (Windows) or ⌘+V (Mac).
- 5Under “Signature defaults”, choose your new signature.
- 6Scroll to the bottom and click “Save Changes”.
Tips for Gmail signatures
- Under “Signature defaults”, choose the signature for both new emails and replies.
- Tick “Insert signature before quoted text in replies” so it doesn’t end up below a long thread.
- If you send from several addresses (“Send mail as”), you can give each one its own signature.

FAQ
What access does the automatic install need?
Only permission to change your Gmail settings (Google calls it “gmail.settings.basic”). We can’t read, send or delete emails. We use the access once to set your signature and don’t store it.
Does it work with Google Workspace accounts?
Yes, as long as your administrator allows third-party apps. If your company blocks it, use the copy-and-paste method. It works everywhere.
Why doesn’t my signature show in the Gmail app on my phone?
The Gmail mobile app has its own plain-text “Mobile signature” setting. If it’s turned on, it replaces your normal signature. Turn it off in the app’s settings to use your full signature from Gmail on the web.
Why is my logo missing in Gmail?
Gmail can’t use images stored on your computer. Our generator hosts your logo online at a fixed size, so it shows for everyone.
Is there a size limit?
Yes, Gmail signatures can be up to 10,000 characters. Our signatures are compact and stay well under it.
