The best WiseStamp alternative depends on who the signature is for. If it's just you and you want a free signature, look at the HubSpot Email Signature Generator or the free plans of MySignature and Signguin. If you'd rather pay once than subscribe, Signguin Premium is a one-time payment. For a small team, Bybrand and Newoldstamp price by signature. For a whole company on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, Exclaimer and CodeTwo are built for central management.
Every price and plan detail below was checked on each vendor's own website in October 2026. Prices change, so treat the table as a snapshot and confirm on the linked pricing pages before you buy.
A note on bias: Signguin is our product, and it's on this list. We hold it to the same rules as everyone else, including an honest "not a fit if" line.

WiseStamp in short: what it does and what it costs
WiseStamp is an email signature tool for individuals and companies. You design a signature in its generator or in the fuller Signature Studio, then install it in Gmail (through a Chrome extension), Outlook, Apple Mail, iPhone and other clients by following its instructions or by copying and pasting. On its company plans it connects to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, syncs employee details and installs signatures for everyone automatically. Higher tiers add banner campaigns, analytics, automated rules and SSO.
It's a mature, well-documented product. Plenty of people never need anything else. The question this page answers is narrower: if WiseStamp's plans or price model don't match what you need, what else is there?
WiseStamp pricing (as of October 2026)
These are the prices on wisestamp.com/pricing, billed annually:
| Plan | Price as listed | Who it's for | Notable inclusions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro+ | $9/month, add up to 10 team members for $2/month each | Individuals and micro-teams | AI Signature Designer, one-click Gmail and Outlook sync, 3 templates, 1 admin |
| Basic | $19/month + $1/month per employee | Companies | Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 integration, auto-sync employee details, auto-install, departments, 5 templates |
| Grow | $49/month + $1/month per employee | Companies | Everything in Basic plus campaigns, analytics, automated rules, employee hub, 20 templates, 5 admins |
| Platform | $189/month + $1/month per employee | Larger companies | Roles and permissions, SSO, server-side integration, unlimited templates, 10 admins, 3 organizations |
| Enterprise | Custom pricing | Enterprises | Audit logs, 99.9% uptime SLA, unlimited admins and organizations |
All plans come with a 14-day free trial with no credit card needed and a 14-day money-back guarantee. The pricing FAQ says plans renew automatically and can be canceled at any time.
What that means in real money, billed annually: Pro+ for one person is $108 a year. For a team of five on Pro+, our reading of the pricing page is $9 + 4 × $2 = $17 a month, or $204 a year. Basic for 20 employees is $19 + $20 = $39 a month, or $468 a year.
Is WiseStamp free?
Not permanently, for new users. WiseStamp's own pricing FAQ answers "Is there a free version of WiseStamp?" with: "We offer a 14-day free trial for all of our plans with no credit card required."
Two more details from WiseStamp's help center (checked October 2026):
- You can design a signature in the WiseStamp generator for free, but "to install the signature you design, you need to start a free trial of WiseStamp."
- During the trial (and on the older Free plan), signatures carry a branding line, "Create your own email signature with WiseStamp", which is removed when you upgrade. WiseStamp lists Free among its legacy plans that are no longer available for purchase.
So "WiseStamp free" in practice means a 14-day trial, after which you choose a paid plan.
Why people look for a WiseStamp alternative
Rather than paraphrase anonymous reviews, here are the reasons that follow directly from WiseStamp's published plans. None of them is a flaw. They're trade-offs that suit some people and not others.
- You want a signature that is free to keep. WiseStamp offers a trial rather than a permanent free plan for new users.
- You'd rather not subscribe for something you set up once. All WiseStamp plans are subscriptions that renew automatically. A personal signature often changes once or twice a year.
- You want more designs on the entry plan. Pro+ lists 3 templates; more templates come with the company plans.
- Your team is bigger than micro. Pro+ goes up to 10 team members. Beyond that, the company plans combine a base fee with a per-employee fee.
- You need something narrower or broader. A solo freelancer may need only a clean HTML signature. A 300-person company may need server-side rules for Microsoft 365. Both are well served by more specialized tools.
And reasons to stay: if you already use WiseStamp's campaigns, analytics or Google Workspace sync, switching means rebuilding that setup. Compare the total cost of the move, not just the monthly price.
How we compared the alternatives
For each tool we looked at the same six things, all taken from the vendor's own pages in October 2026:
- Best for: the user the tool is clearly built around
- Pricing as listed: the published price and how it's billed
- Free option: a permanent free plan, a free generator or a trial only
- Team management: whether central management is part of the listed plans
- How it installs: copy and paste, one-click install or central deployment
- Not a fit if: the situations where another tool on this list fits better
We didn't score or rank tools against each other. A tool built for a 2,000-person Microsoft 365 rollout and a tool built for a plumber's Gmail signature aren't competing for the same reader.
The 7 best WiseStamp alternatives
1. Signguin
Best for: individuals, freelancers and small business owners who want a good-looking signature without a subscription.
Pricing as listed: free plan; Premium is a one-time payment for one person, no subscription. Check signguin.com for the current price.
Free plan: no sign-up and no credit card. You get 3 designs (Classic, Simple and Local pro), every install option, and a small "Made with Signguin" link at the bottom of the signature.
How it works: you type your work email. Signguin reads your company's domain and loads your logo, brand colors and contact details from your website, then guesses your name from the address. With a personal address like gmail.com, you type your website or start from scratch. You get a live preview in a realistic email, with phone and desktop views and light and dark mode.
Key differences vs WiseStamp:
- One-time Premium payment instead of a renewing subscription. Premium adds your photo, all 23 designs, CTA buttons and banners, and removes the "Made with" link.
- The free plan installs without a trial. For Gmail there is a direct install button (Signguin asks only for permission to change Gmail settings, never reads your email and doesn't keep access). For Outlook, Apple Mail and others you copy and paste with step-by-step instructions.
- The output is email-safe HTML (tables, inline styles, PNG social icons in your brand color) built to hold together in Outlook for Windows, Outlook on the web, Gmail, Apple Mail and Android, and every signature fits Gmail's 10,000-character limit.
- Images are hosted by Signguin, so your logo doesn't break if your website changes.
|
Not a fit if: you need to manage signatures for a team (team plans are waitlist only), you want click tracking or analytics, you need central rollout through Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace admin, or you want more than 3 designs without paying. Premium covers one person, so a team of five would need five Premium purchases.
Works in Gmail, Outlook & Apple Mail
2. HubSpot Email Signature Generator
Best for: individuals who want a free signature right now, with no account.
Pricing as listed: free. HubSpot's page says the tool is "completely free with no hidden costs, no trial period, and no account required."
Free plan: the whole tool is free. The page lists 12 templates (and mentions newer additions), brand colors, logo and photo upload, and social icons.
Key differences vs WiseStamp:
- No sign-in and no trial: you fill in the form and copy the result.
- You "copy the signature or the source code" and paste it into Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, Yahoo Mail or HubSpot CRM.
- It connects natively to HubSpot CRM, which is handy if your team already works in HubSpot.
Not a fit if: you want one-click installation or a managed signature for a whole company. HubSpot's page describes a copy-and-paste generator, and central team rollout isn't among the features it lists as of October 2026. We cover it in more detail in our guide to the HubSpot email signature generator.
3. MySignature
Best for: individuals and small teams who want a free start and the option to add tracking later.
Pricing as listed: MySignature has a free plan and paid per-user plans, billed yearly: Professional (for individuals and small teams) at $7 per user per month, and Teams (for teams of more than 5 using Google Workspace or Microsoft 365) at $6 per user per month, as of October 2026.
Free plan: yes. MySignature says paid plans add advanced designs, tracking, analytics, team features and removal of MySignature branding, which means the free signature carries its branding.
Key differences vs WiseStamp:
- A permanent free plan rather than a trial.
- A separate Teams product for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, starting with teams of more than 5.
- Email tracking and analytics are part of the paid plans.
Not a fit if: you want to avoid a subscription entirely.
4. Newoldstamp
Best for: marketing teams that want to run banner campaigns in signatures and measure them.
Pricing as listed: $1.8 per signature per month, billed annually. The pricing slider defaults to 5 signatures, shown as $109 a year, and runs to 200+. Above 200 signatures, there's a custom plan. Discounts are offered for nonprofits, NGOs, startups, education and agencies.
Free option: a 7-day trial with full feature access, plus a free signature generator with pre-designed templates listed in its menu. During the trial, Newoldstamp's FAQ says, "you won't be able to start using the signatures until you upgrade your account."
Key differences vs WiseStamp:
- Priced per signature rather than per plan plus per employee.
- Built around marketing: scheduled banner campaigns by department, and analytics on clicks and impressions for each part of the signature.
- Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 integration and 24/7 live chat support are on the pricing page.
Not a fit if: you want a signature that keeps working without a subscription. Newoldstamp's FAQ says your signature "will remain functional as long as your subscription is valid" and "will stop working as soon as your subscription expires or when you delete your account."
5. Bybrand
Best for: small teams that want a simple monthly price and a capable editor, including raw HTML.
Pricing as listed: the Base plan is $8 per month, billed monthly, and includes up to 10 email signatures. Extra signatures are $0.80 per month each. Automated signatures synced from Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoho CRM or Google Sheets are $0.50 per employee per month. Bybrand's own examples: 20 manual signatures come to about $16 a month, 50 automated ones to about $33.
Free option: a 14-day unlimited trial, no credit card required. A permanent free plan is not listed on its pricing page as of October 2026.
Key differences vs WiseStamp:
- Monthly billing on a single base plan, with add-ons as you grow.
- Several ways to build a signature: templates, from scratch, from LinkedIn, from your own HTML or from plain text. There's an HTML editing mode and version history.
- Team access for up to 5 users with editor and manager roles, plus Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 single sign-on.
Not a fit if: you want a free signature to keep, or you need large-scale campaign analytics (we didn't find analytics in the plan details on the pricing page).
6. Exclaimer
Best for: organizations of 10 or more people who need centrally managed signatures across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or Microsoft Exchange.
Pricing as listed: per user per month, billed annually, minimum 10 users: Starter $0.90, Standard $1.45, Pro $1.75, Enterprise on request. Monthly billing is also offered.
Free option: a 14-day trial, no credit card required.
Key differences vs WiseStamp:
- Built for IT-managed rollout: signatures are managed centrally and employee details update automatically, with legal disclaimers on every plan.
- Standard adds unlimited templates, department signatures, campaign banners and 3 brand kits. Pro adds unlimited brands, engagement analytics and HRIS integration.
- Exclaimer lists SOC 2, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001 and HIPAA compliance on its pricing page.
Not a fit if: you're one person or a team of fewer than 10. The 10-user minimum means the smallest Starter bill is $9 a month, or $108 a year.
7. CodeTwo Email Signatures 365
Best for: companies on Microsoft 365 that want one plan with every feature included.
Pricing as listed: one plan, priced per user per month on a yearly subscription: $1.22 for 10 to 25 users, falling in steps to $0.73 at 500 users, with a quote above 500. Monthly subscriptions cost 10 to 15% more per user. The minimum is 10 licenses.
Free option: a 14-day fully functional trial, which can be extended to 21 days.
Key differences vs WiseStamp:
- Everything is in one plan: unlimited templates, centrally managed signatures, legal disclaimers, auto-reply messages, scheduling and 24/7 support.
- Focused on Microsoft 365. CodeTwo describes it as "the only email signature solution fully certified by Microsoft."
Not a fit if: you use Google Workspace (its pricing page is about Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace isn't listed there as of October 2026) or you're a team of fewer than 10. The minimum yearly cost at 10 users is about $146.

What one year costs for 1 person and for 10 people
Annual billing where offered, based on the listed prices above:
| Tool | 1 person, 1 year | 10 people, 1 year |
|---|---|---|
| WiseStamp | $108 (Pro+) | $324 on Pro+ ($9 + 9 × $2 per month, our reading) or $348 on Basic ($19 + $10 per month) |
| Signguin | $0 free, or one Premium payment | Not offered for teams yet |
| HubSpot generator | $0 | $0 (each person makes their own) |
| Bybrand | $96 | $96 (10 signatures fit the Base plan, monthly billing) |
| Newoldstamp | see the slider (default view: 5 signatures, $109) | about $216 at the listed $1.8 per signature |
| Exclaimer | $108 (10-user minimum) | $108 (Starter) to $210 (Pro) |
| CodeTwo | about $146 (10-license minimum) | about $146 |
The cheapest option on paper isn't automatically the cheapest in practice. If someone on your team spends an afternoon each quarter fixing ten hand-pasted signatures, central management pays for itself quickly. If you're one person, it doesn't.
WiseStamp vs Newoldstamp
These two often get compared because both serve individuals and teams. As of October 2026:
| WiseStamp | Newoldstamp | |
|---|---|---|
| Price model | Plan fee, plus $1 per employee on company plans | Per signature ($1.8/mo, annual) |
| Entry price | Pro+ $9/mo (annual) | 5 signatures, $109/yr |
| Trial | 14 days, no credit card | 7 days, signatures usable after upgrade |
| Team integration | Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 on company plans | Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 |
| Campaigns and analytics | Grow plan and up | Listed as key features of the main plan |
In short: for a solo user, WiseStamp Pro+ has the lower entry point. For a marketing-led team of 10 to 50 that wants banners and click data, Newoldstamp's per-signature pricing with campaigns included is worth pricing out against WiseStamp Grow.
How to choose: start from your situation
- "I need one signature for myself, and I don't want to pay monthly." Use a free generator (HubSpot, Signguin's free plan, MySignature's free plan), or pay once for Signguin Premium if you want a photo, more designs or no footer link. See our comparison of the best email signature generators.
- "We're 2 to 10 people and someone non-technical will manage it." Bybrand's flat Base plan or WiseStamp Pro+ fit here. Each person can also make their own signature from a shared template with a free generator, if you can live without central control.
- "We're 10 to 200 people and marketing owns the signature." Newoldstamp, WiseStamp Grow or Exclaimer Standard and Pro.
- "IT needs to roll signatures out to everyone, with disclaimers." Exclaimer for mixed Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or Exchange setups, CodeTwo for Microsoft 365.
Switching from WiseStamp without losing anything
Switching takes about 15 minutes for one person. A few steps prevent the usual surprises:
- Save what you have. Send yourself an email with your current signature and take a screenshot. Note every link (website, booking page, social profiles) so you can check them later.
- Build the new signature first. Don't remove the old one until the new one is ready. With Signguin, typing your work email loads your logo and colors from your website, which is most of the work.
- Turn off the old installation. If you installed WiseStamp's Chrome extension for Gmail, disable or remove it, so it doesn't keep adding your old signature next to the new one.
- Install the new signature in every client you use. That includes your phone: mobile apps keep their own signature setting. Our guides cover Gmail and Outlook step by step.
- Test. Send an email to a different account, open it on your phone and on a computer, and click every link. If something is missing in Outlook, see Outlook signature not showing.
- Cancel the subscription last, after you've checked the new signature in real emails. WiseStamp's FAQ says you can cancel at any time, and that plans renew automatically, so put the renewal date in your calendar.
Works in Gmail, Outlook & Apple Mail
Frequently asked questions
Is WiseStamp free?
Not permanently for new users. WiseStamp offers a 14-day free trial of all plans with no credit card required. You can design a signature in its generator for free, but installing it starts the trial, and trial signatures carry a "Create your own email signature with WiseStamp" line. The older Free plan is listed as a legacy plan no longer available for purchase (as of October 2026).
How much does WiseStamp cost?
As of October 2026, billed annually: Pro+ is $9 per month (add up to 10 team members for $2 per month each), Basic is $19 per month plus $1 per employee, Grow is $49 plus $1 per employee, Platform is $189 plus $1 per employee, and Enterprise is custom. Plans renew automatically.
What is the best free alternative to WiseStamp?
For one person, a free generator is enough. HubSpot's generator is free with no account. Signguin's free plan needs no sign-up, loads your logo and colors from your website and includes a Gmail install button, with a small "Made with Signguin" link. MySignature also has a free plan, with its branding. None of these manage signatures centrally for a team.
Is Newoldstamp cheaper than WiseStamp?
It depends on team size. For one person, compare WiseStamp Pro+ ($108 a year) with the smallest count on Newoldstamp's pricing slider, which shows 5 signatures for $109 a year by default. For 10 people, Newoldstamp is about $216 a year versus about $324 to $348 on WiseStamp's Pro+ or Basic plans, based on listed annual prices in October 2026.
Which WiseStamp alternative is best for Microsoft 365?
For central rollout across a Microsoft 365 organization of 10 or more people, look at CodeTwo Email Signatures 365 (one all-inclusive plan) and Exclaimer (which also covers Google Workspace and Exchange). For individuals on Outlook, any HTML generator works: you paste the signature into Outlook yourself.
Can I move my WiseStamp signature to another tool?
There's no universal import format, so in practice you rebuild it. That usually takes 5 to 15 minutes: copy your details and links from the current signature, recreate the layout in the new tool, install it, then disable the WiseStamp extension or installation before you cancel.
